7. Install the jam nut: Screw the jam nut onto the threaded end of the rod end.
8. Torque the jam nut: Use a torque wrench to tighten the jam nut to the manufacturer's specified torque specification.
9. Check the alignment: Check the alignment of the tie rod end with the rest of the steering system and make any necessary adjustments.
